Arrive at Dublin Airport to be greeted by your professional chauffeur and guide who will welcome you to Ireland, help with your luggage and get you on your way in to the thriving heart of Dublin to check in to the Temple Bar Hotel. Once that’s done, Emerald Concierge Services will take you on a tour of some famous Dublin landmarks and attractions including the Guinness Brewery and Gravity Bar overlooking the whole of Dublin, Historical Trinity College and St.Patrick’s Cathedral. Spend the evening in buzzing Temple Bar/City Centre area with Emerald Concierge Services' recommendations for dinner depending on your tastes.
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be then collected by your chauffeur and taken to the ancient site of Newgrange, older than the pyramids of Egypt. Tour the Visitors Center of this stunning piece of history. After Newgrange, you will take a scenic drive to the medieval city of Kilkenny, where you will check in to the amazing Langton’s Hotel. Spend an evening exploring the Castle and center of this medieval city with dinner at the restaurant of your choice or within one of Langton’s many dining options.
Collected by your chauffeur after a hearty breakfast, you will head south to County Cork, with a stop at the famous Jameson Distillery for a guided tour and whiskey sample session. From the distillery, you will travel to Kinsale and check in to the Blue Haven Hotel, the Irish Boutique Hotel of the year 2018. After lunch, you will step aboard a luxury yacht for a sail into the Bay of Kinsale, passing between the two 17th century forts - Charles Fort and James Fort - built to protect the thriving trading port of Kinsale and named after the Stuart Kings. In the bay, stay on the look out for dolphins, basking sharks and whales, and you may even catch your dinner if you like a spot of fishing.
After breakfast, your chauffeur will collect you for a close up look around Charles Fort, which you have passed in your yacht the previous day. The fort was completed in 1688 and has been methodically restored and maintained. It is the best preserved example of a European military 17th century Star Fort.
After your guided tour of Charles Fort, you will head back towards Dublin with a stop off Kildare Retail Village for lunch and an hour long shopping spree in the 100 outlet shops, to keep the very keenest of retail therapy exponents happy. Then it’s time to head back to Dublin Airport and say goodbye to Ireland (for now). Have a safe flight home!
