Cliffs of Moher Day tour to Galway
You will be picked up in Dublin to start this amazing tour to the county of Clare to see the world famous Cliffs of Moher. After being amazed by the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, the tour will drop you to the City of Galway, where you will spend your first night. Galway is a magical place with street performers and buskers coming from all over the world. The next morning your bike will be delivered to your accommodation and you will start your cycle adventure to the magical Connemara region.

Oranmore to Oughterard

Once you leave Oranmore, you are not far from Galway city, where you can stop to experience the energy of this young bohemian city. From there you will cycle through many little villages until you reach the gateway to Connemara - Oughterard. This small traditional village in the West of Ireland offers stunning scenery of the Connemara mountain range and a 16th century Irish Tower House (Aughnanure Castle).

Oughterard To Leenaun
Distance: 60km
Time: 3hrs
From Oughterard you are set for an approximately 30 km exquisite ride through the gorgeous Inagh Valley. You can also cycle to the amazing Kylemore Lake, which leads you to one of the most romantic places in Ireland - the Kylemore Abbey, which looks more of a castle than an abbey. Surrounded by a Victorian walled garden, there is also a chapel next to the abbey, which is a miniature replica of the Norwich Cathedral. After viewing these magical sights, you can have a rest next door at Mitchell’s Café. A convenient place to stop for a bite to eat after the morning's adventure!

Leenaun to Westport
Distance: 55km
Time: 3hrs
From the wonderful village of Leenaun, which sits on the Galway/Mayo border, you will travel to the popular town of Westport. Before you get there, you will be treated to an amazing ride through Lough Dooagh and up to the little hamlet of Louisburg, where you can take a ferry to Clare Island for a few hours, if it takes your fancy. You will also pass Ireland’s holy mountain of Croagh Patrick before reaching Westport. There, you will find some of the best pubs and restaurants in the west of the country – a lovely town and great craic!

Westport to Maam Cross
Distance: 55km
Time: 3hrs
After a wonderful night's entertainment of traditional live music in the many pubs of Westport, it's time to get on your bike again. Today you travel on a beautiful road from Westport to Leenaun, with Croagh Patrick in the foreground. There are fantastic views along this road with lush green fields and crystal streams at every corner. You will pass through Leenaun and on through a mountain pass toward the crossroads at Maam Cross. The cycle will take about 3 hours and you can stop at Leenaun along the way.

Maam Cross to Oranmore
Distance: 69km
Time: 3.5 hrs
Today is the last day of the cycling tour, so make sure to enjoy it to the fullest! You will make your way back from Maam Cross to Oranmore and be collected by your coach heading for Dublin. The ride is just 3.5 hours and you will have all day to make your way to the meeting point before the coach arrives. You will pass through Galway city on the way. The time until your coach collects you is yours to choose how to spend. Have a relaxed ride, stop to explore one of the towns along the way or just take in the stunning vistas. This marks the end of your Connemara cycle tour. The experiences and memories along with the spectacular scenery over the last 6 days will stay with you forever. The countryside you travel through is truly magical and your photos are sure to wow your family and friends!
