On your second day in Dublin, you might want to enjoy some sightseeing in Ireland’s vibrant capital city. Don’t miss the Guinness Store House for the history of the famous pint of stout, Trinity College for the Book of Kells, Temple bar for the pubs and people watching or Dublinia museum for the history of the Vikings in Dublin. Dublin to Waterford, via Kilkenny

This morning, you will meet your driver or collect your car hire and head south out of the city. Your touring can include a drive through Co. Wicklow, with a stop at the beautiful Glendalough Lake and the medieval monastic church. Continue en route to the beautiful town of Kilkenny. Visit the historical Kilkenny castle built in 1195 and stroll around the traditional Irish town. Alternatively, you can visit the famous Rock of Cashel. This stunning ruin was the historical seat of the high Kings of Ireland. Finally, you will arrive at your Waterford Castle hotel and enjoy some fine dining while you unwind.

Waterford to Kerry, visit Blarney Castle

This morning, you will drive along the Copper Coast road into Co. Cork. Stop in Middleton’s Jameson Experience and discover the making of Irish whiskey. Head on to the famous Blarney Castle and woolen mills for your lunch and make your way to the top to kiss the stone! On to Co. Kerry to your luxury Hotel.

Drive the Ring of Kerry

Today, you will drive the world famous Ring of Kerry. Experience the raw beauty of 179 km (111 miles) of the country’s most scenic peninsula routes round the Iveragh Peninsula in southwest Ireland’s County Kerry. The combination of rugged sea, spectacular mountains and small traditional villages will not fail to impress. Skellig Michael, a rocky island with an abandoned 7th-century Christian monastery, is a major destination point. These spectacular views are world famous.

Killarney National Park

Today, you will take a stroll through Killarney town. Go into the bustling tourist center or visit the world famous Killarney National Park on a horse and buggy. A visit to Ross Castle and a short boat trip on the lakes are all a must do. Don't forget to take the guided tour of the historical Muckross House and Gardens.

Kerry to Galway

This morning, head out of Kerry towards Co. Limerick. Visit the restored Bunratty Castle to experience life in medieval Ireland. Go out to the coast and drive through the Burren, a rocky nature reserve, home to unique flora and fauna and many archaeological sites. Head for the coast and the awesome Cliffs of Moher. The magnificent cliffs are the top of the list of sights to see in Ireland. Soaring 702 ft above the sea, they offer a fantastic view. Later, settle into your luxury Castle hotel and rest.

Galway

Galway to Dublin

Visit Newgrange (c 3,200 B.C.), the best-known monument of the World Heritage Site of Brú na Bóinne, predating the ancient pyramids by 400 years and Stonehenge by 1000. Visit the fantastic Visitor Center for a doze of history and lore. Travel to Monasterboice (an early Christian site with a round tower and 10th Century High Cross) and the Hill of Tara (seat of the high kings of Ireland). Settle into your hotel outside Dublin for a good night sleep before your flight home.
