Arrive in Dublin

You will meet you airport transfer at arrivals. He will help you with your bags and take you to your hotel to relax after your flight to Ireland. Stretch your legs and get to know your surroundings by exploring Dublin city center with your local private guide. Discover the culture and history of the city of Dublin while getting your bearings around the city center.

Dublin City Sightseeing

Today, its time to explore more of Dublin, Ireland’s vibrant capital city. Ireland Luxury Travel will pre-book your fast track time slot for the Guinness Store House Experience, where you will discover the history of the famous pint of stout. Explore Trinity College and the ancient Book of Kells in the Old Library of Trinity College. Dublin to Clare

You will meet your driver guide at your hotel. He will discuss your plans and your itinerary, advising always how to get the best from your trip. Alternatively, you can collect your car hire (GPS included) and go on an adventure of your own! Head West. Make your way to Co. Clare, with a stop at the excellent Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The restored medieval castle and historical village will give you a real insight into life in Ireland of the old. Head on to your luxury Clare hotel and settle in. Explore Co. Clare

Explore the coastal sites around you and don’t miss the awesome Cliffs of Moher. The magnificent Cliffs are the top of the list of sights to see in Ireland. Soaring 702 ft above the sea, the cliffs offer a fantastic view. You will meet a local guide in Doolin village and walk off road towards the magnificent cliffs. Drive to Loop head, Lahinch village and Doolin, famous for traditional Irish music. The huge seascapes and rugged coastline are stunning!

Galway City

You will drive through the Burren national park, stopping to take in the scenery on the way to your Galway city hotel. Spend the afternoon in one of Ireland’s most vibrant small cities, Galway. Take a guided tour and discover all Galway has to offer. The city has a fascinating trading history and was the principal Irish port for trade with Spain and France in the middle ages. Galway is famous for its pubs and restaurants and you will be certain to experience some traditional music and fun. Aran Islands

You will take a ferry to the Aran Islands. The trip is beautiful and the islands of Inishmore, Inishmaan, and Inisheer are rugged and windswept. Old stone walls fence in tiny fiends and narrow roads. Inishmore is the biggest of the islands and most popular. You can hire a bike and cycle across the island to Dun Aonghasa, a semi circle stone fort overlooking the Atlantic. This famous archaeological site has had people living there since 1500BC. The island is definitely worth a visit.

Enjoy a lovely breakfast and some last minute shopping before heading to your luxurious castle hotel. Check in and spend the day enjoying the activities on the estate. Connemara Day Trip

You will make an early start and head north along the Wild Atlantic Way through the scenic Connemara landscape. The drive is perfectly formed in a loop with stunning scenery, wildlife and small villages dotted along the route. This rocky plateau is scenic and beautiful. You will enjoy quiet roads winding around lakes and barren hills. Head for Clifden and on to the Sky road, taking in the rugged Atlantic sea views. Watch the kite surfers on the waves and take a walk on a windswept beach. Ireland Luxury Travel recommend lunch in the timeless Kylemore Abbey - most recently a boarding school and home to an order of Benedictine nuns, this magical place is a wonderful stop.

Galway to Dublin

You will head back to the east towards Dublin but make a few highlight stops along the way. First visit Newgrange (c 3,200 B.C.), the best-known monument of the World Heritage Site of Brú na Bóinne. This spectacular site was built by bronze age farmers, pre-dateing the ancient pyramids by 400 years and Stonehenge by 1000. The fantastic visitors center will fascinate you. Visit Monasterboice (an early Christian site with a round tower and 10th Century High Cross), the Hill of Tara (seat of the high kings of Ireland) or Trim Castle , the largest Anglo- Norman castle in Ireland and part of "Braveheart’s" film set. Settle into your hotel outside Dublin for a good night sleep before your flight home.
